Paul Holmes, MP for Chesterfield, has tabled a damning Early Day Motion condemning the Government's gross mismanagement of NHS finances, following the announcement on Tuesday that 43 nurses at Chesterfield's Royal Hospital will lose their jobs.

Information provided to Chesterfield Liberal Democrats by Chesterfield PCT reveals that there are no longer any dental practices in the constituency who are currently treating new NHS patients, leaving many local adults and children without access to regular dental care.

Paul Holmes MP for Chesterfield has joined forces with the UK's leading breast cancer charity, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, and the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Breast Cancer to encourage all local women aged 50-70 to attend their breast-screening appointments when invited and, if aged 70 or over, to phone or write to your local breast screening unit to make an appointment.
