A Message to Tony

The opposition shouldn't be resting on their laurels if they get wind of the fact Tony Rogers is out of action. Following his successful operation Tony is - I'm glad to say - on the road to recovery and as bullish as ever.

As PPC for Chesterfield I know the value of experienced and active people like Tony. I rely on help from members and who better than a former PPC to pass along words of encouragement and guidance.

Above all he is a party man and a Liberal Democrat. This was illustrated earlier today when he told me he had signed up a new member in hospital! He was serious! Even as he lay face first from his bad fall last week, his only thought was to get the round he was delivering finished.
