Parking problems
Local campaigner Chris Clark is working hard to combat the problem of parking on Hucklow Avenue. Local residents contacted Chris about their drives being blocked by parents picking up children from the nearby school. We have contacted Labour-run Derbyshire County Council who deal with the roads and have asked the Police for their help in dealing with the problems.

Dangerous Roads.
Local campaigner Chris Clark is extremely concerned about the dangerous traffic situation on Boythorpe Road. Large vehicles and trucks park on the road blocking the view for drivers turning onto the road from Clarkson Avenue. Traffic goes extremely fast on Boythorpe Road and it is only a matter of time before an accident occurs. We have contacted Labour-run Derbyshire County Council who deal with the roads to urge them to put double yellow lines on the main road so that lorries cannot park there. We hope they say yes and act quickly!
