Parking Problems
Cllr Arnold has been campaigning for many years to resolve the problems caused by cars parking on busy Mansfield Road and other roads in Hasland. It is very dangerous, especially for users of mobility scooters and people with prams. Your Lib Dem Councillors have asked for barriers to be put in and have previously been turned down. Labour-run Deryshire County Council who deal with the roads have finally made a u-turn and realised tat we were right all along. Watch this space and hopefully the bollards will be in place soon.

Widening the Road
Thanks to sustained pressure from you local Lib Dem Councillors, the obstruction on Mansfield Road has finally been removed. This has caused traffic conbgestion for a number of years and Councillor Butt has campaigned tirelessly to get the obstruction moved to make the area safer. Congratulations to the Hasland Focus team for getting results!
